A: Unfortunately, we are only able to administer the Moderna vaccine to people who have already turned 12. You will need to book an appointment for after they have turned 12.

Q: Do you have the Pfizer vaccine / are you getting the Pfizer vaccine?
A: No, the Commonwealth vaccination program is not supplying the Pfizer vaccine to pharmacy. The Pfizer vaccine is being supplied through doctor’s surgeries and through state vaccination hubs. The Moderna vaccine uses the same technology as the Pfizer vaccine and provides a similar level of protection as the Pfizer vaccine.

Q: I have already had one dose of the Pfizer or AZ vaccine. Can I get the Moderna vaccine as my second dose?
A: No, you must get the same vaccine as your previous dose unless you have developed serious medical contraindications to the previously administered vaccine, or your previously administered vaccine is not available in Australia (for example a vaccine administered overseas that is not available here). If you believe this applies to you, please contact your medical practitioner to discuss an alternative vaccine schedule.

Q: The day I wish to book in is unavailable. Can I do another day?
A: At this stage no. We are only being supplied with limited stock and have made appointments available accordingly.

Q: I have booked my first Moderna vaccine but I forgot to book my second dose. There are no appointments available when I am due for my second dose. Can you squeeze me in?
A: At this stage no. Stock is limited and we do not have room to accommodate additional appointments. The recommended interval is 4 weeks, but the second dose can be administered later than this if needed. We suggest booking as early as available.
